VALE BARQUEIROS SELECT HARVEST RED 2022 is produced from vineyards at Vale Barqueiros Estate in North Alentejo, planted on granite-derived soils and influenced by a Mediterranean climate. Made from Syrah, Aragonez, Trincadeira and Cabernet Sauvignon, the grapes were hand-picked in September 2022 and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine was then matured for nine months in French oak barrels, giving added complexity. It shows a garnet-red colour with aromas of berries, cigar notes and subtle oak, while the palate is balanced and fresh with an elegant structure and a long, lingering finish.
