VALE BARQUEIROS RESERVE RED 2020 is produced from vineyards at Vale Barqueiros Estate in North Alentejo, planted on granite-derived soils and influenced by a Mediterranean climate. Made from Alicante Bouschet, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon, the grapes were hand-picked in September 2020 and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine was then matured for twelve months in French oak barrels, adding depth and complexity. It shows a garnet-red colour with aromas of wild plums, spice and subtle oak, while the palate is elegant and structured with a long, persistent finish.
