MENIN TINTA RORIZ 2020 is produced from selected vineyard plots in the Douro, located at elevations between 150 and 200 metres with south and west-facing exposures, highlighting the potential of the region’s terroir. The grapes were hand-picked and vinified separately, with pre-fermentation maceration and controlled fermentation in stainless steel. The wine was then aged for 20 months in oak barrels, adding depth and complexity. It shows aromas of wild red fruits, black cherry and forest berries, complemented by spice notes from oak. On the palate it is refined and harmonious, with notable finesse, structure and a long, elegant finish.
