Encosta do Xisto - Alvarinho (Vegan)

ENCOSTA DO XISTO ALVARINHO 2023 is produced from vineyards at Quinta do Xisto in the Ave subregion of northern Portugal, planted on sandy-granite soils and influenced by a Mediterranean climate with strong Atlantic influence. Made from 100% Alvarinho, the grapes were hand-picked at the beginning of September 2023 and fermented in stainless steel after static decantation, with maturation on fine lees in stainless steel vessels. The wine shows a citrine colour with golden reflections and offers intense aromas of tropical fruits, highlighting passion fruit and mango. On the palate it is fresh and persistent, with tropical fruit flavours, moderate acidity and a long, balanced finish.
